Festa dell’allegria | Morrona

Morrona, a village nestled in the hills of the Valdera near Terricciola, has been welcoming visitors for 30 years with authentic flavours and fine wine, alongside art, performances and entertainment for young and old alike. The event called Festival dell’allegria (Festival of joy) takes place from 29 to 31 May.

Every evening at dinner and on Sunday at lunch, the festival’s food stalls will serve traditional dishes, from first courses cooked in the old-fashioned way by the village women, to grilled meat, side dishes and homemade desserts, all accompanied by wines from the hills and the Terre di Pisa DOC.
