The National Tree Day | Pisa

The National Tree Day in Italy is celebrated every year on 21 November to raise awareness among citizens about the importance of trees and greenery for our planet. This day was established to promote knowledge, care and appreciation of our tree heritage, reminding us of the importance of trees for human life and the environment.

The Botanical Garden and Museum of the University of Pisa organise the Arboratorio, a two-day event on 20 and 21 November: an introductory lesson, a guided walk among the specimens of the Botanical Garden and an excursion to the Coltano Estate to recognise trees. Info on the page
