Dinner in the streets of Orciatico

On the last Saturday of August, a travelling dinner is held through the streets of the pretty village of Orciatico to rediscover traditions, good food and music. Tasting begins at 7 p.m. with live music

The itinerant dinner is preceded on the first Saturday of July by the fish dinner (known as ‘Pesciata’)

Orciatico is a small, well-kept village in the Tuscan countryside between Pontedera and Volterra, on the edge of a wonderful forest where you can find old windmills and the Pietracassia fortress that imposingly dominates the Era and Cecina Valleys. This is a natural and silent village, where the old bells still toll, marking the old rhythms of the peasants.
