Christmas in Vicopisano confirms a packed calendar of free events for all ages and in all districts: until 11th January 2026, markets, concerts, theatre performances, meetings with authors, artistic events and walks on Monte Pisano

• The Bordatino festival returns to the Circolo Arci L’Ortaccio on 6 December for dinner and on 7 December for lunch.
• Sunday 7 December, starting at 9:30 am from Piazza Cavalca, Vicopisano will host the Christmas gathering organised by the Italian Leonberger Club, NataLeo. This is an opportunity for friends and family, both two-legged and four-legged, to visit the monumental complex of Rocca di Vicopisano, fortified by Brunelleschi, and the village, one of the Italian Touring Club’s Orange Flags, with an expert guide.
• Santa Claus will be stopping off in San Giovanni alla Vena, in Piazza della Repubblica, on Sunday 7th. He will be arriving on his motorbike and bringing lots of other Christmas surprises with him.
• The Brunelleschi Fortress complex, with the Torre del Soccorso tower and its walkway, will be open on Saturday afternoon from 3.30pm to 7pm, as well as on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th December, from 10am to 12.30pm and from 3pm to 7pm. Tickets at Palazzo Pretorio, grupporosellini@yahoo.it
