Christmas in Ponsacco

A month full of events to celebrate Christmas in Ponsacco, which has been transformed into a veritable trail of lights: the main streets and squares of the town have been decorated with lights, spectacular decorations and installations that evoke the Christmas tradition.

Festivities begin on Saturday 6 December with A Fantastic Christmas, a day of events that will enliven the squares and streets of the town centre from 10am to 7.30pm.
Monday 8 December, Santa Claus will arrive at the Farmacia delle Melorie to the delight of children.
Sunday 14 December, starting at 3 p.m., the traditional Christmas markets will be held in Val di Cava.

Friday 19 December, the show Christmas Enchantment in Piazza della Repubblica, with children’s songs.
Sunday 21 December, from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Forte dei Marmi Market 2.0 and Waiting for Christmas .
Saturday 27 December double appointment: from 9 a.m. in Piazza della Repubblica, Ponsacco Retrò, the flea market and collectors’ market, and at 9.15 p.m., the Church of San Giovanni hosts Christmas Concert

The new year begins on Sunday 4 January with a concert by the Jubilation Gospel Choir at 5.30pm at the Odeon Theatre, while on 6 January, “La Befana vien di notte…” (The Befana comes at night…) will take place from 12 noon in the town centre and the living nativity scene in Val di Cava will begin at 3pm.

All events are free of charge, except for the Odeon Theatre season dates.
