For 26 years, the festival in Calci has been presenting music, theatre, literature and dance performances: a festival program that has featured big names from the worlds of music, opera and the performing arts, with world premieres and highly evocative shows,
The first event takes place on Friday 3 July at 9.30 pm on the stage in Piazza Garibaldi, in front of the town hall, with the show MANGIADISCHI NIGHT IN CERTOSA, which promises to be a real cracker.
On Friday 10 July, in Piazza Garibaldi, preceded by a performance by LE MALABU’, a new musical duo blending influences from Tuscany and Veneto, comes ESTERINA IN CONCERTO.
On Friday 17 July, the DB DAYS BAND presents THE BEST OF LUCIO DALLA AND BATTISTI
Wednesday 2 September at 9.30 pm in Piazza Garibaldi: (IN)CANTO D’AUTORE, featuring songs by Tenco, De Andrè, Fossati, Conte, Gaber, Vecchioni, Finardi, Dalla, Guccini, De Gregori, Venditti, Pino Daniele and Bennato
Friday 4 September: A TRIBUTE TO BATTIATO – From Mascagni to Franco Battiato, via Ciullo d’Alcamo and Frederick II.
Wednesday 9 September: RECUERDOS – Memories on vinyl
The festival concludes on Thursday 10 September at the Pieve dei Santi Giovanni ed Ermolao (9.30 pm) with the show *IO FRANCESCO*, based on the novel of the same name about St Francis of Assisi
