Boat tours along the Arno river | Pontedera

Every Saturday from 10 June to the end of September, the river boat ‘Andrea da Pontedera’ returns, which for 15 years has been taking visitors (max. 50) along the Arno. A route to discover an often little-known world, just a stone’s throw from the centre of Pontedera. Every Saturday and Sunday, starting at 6 p.m. (see the July programme in the poster opposite)

For this season, there are the landings in Via Bologna at the Parco dei Salici (headquarters of the Canottieri Society) where the boat sets sail and returns, the one at Arnera and finally the one at La Rotta (where the traditional whistle and bell fair is held in September). At these points, passengers can disembark for an aperitif or stroll along the banks.

The boat service is free of charge.
