Peccioli, centro storico, Peccioli

From July 7 to 11, Peccioli will come alive with music and sound, building a symbolic and cultural bridge to New Orleans.

Jazz Peccioli 2026 transforms the village into an international crossroads of sounds, cultures, and artistic expressions. Streets, squares, and theaters will host concerts and performances that recreate the atmosphere of Louisiana, featuring brass bands, second lines, African American roots, and contemporary innovation.

The festival, born from the official twinning between the Municipality of Peccioli and New Orleans, will feature the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, alongside internationally renowned artists such as Andromeda Turre, Sean Ardoin, Sabine McCalla, and Phillip Manuel. Daily parades by the LSU Brass Band will enliven the town center with the unmistakable energy of the second line tradition, led by a Baby Doll Grand Marshal in homage to the historic African American carnival tradition.

The artistic program will also include Alexey Marti, the Jesse McBride Trio, and Amina Scott, representing Afro-Caribbean influences, the intergenerational transmission of musical knowledge, and new directions in contemporary jazz. Alongside the concerts, educational workshops are planned for local students, dedicated to the history and evolution of New Orleans music, featuring opportunities for direct interaction with the jazz artists.
