Tour Volterra by Night

The “Volterra by night” tour is an nocturnal journey to discover the most beautiful places in a jewel of Etruscan, Roman, Medieval and Renaissance art.

Volterra By Night takes place every Thursday in July and August, the tour starts at 9:30 pm from Piazza dei Priori, the cost is € 15.00 per person (under 14 free), reservation is required by 13:00 on the same day.

Etruscan and Roman capital, pearl of medieval art, crossroads of peoples, treasure chest of works of art, the city dominates the beautiful, untouched and poignant territory of the Val di Cecina, with a view that sweeps down to the sea. It will be wonderful to learn about the history and architecture of one of the pearls of Tuscany at the late hour, when the shadows steal the space from the lights and everything becomes even more mysterious and magical.

Because in Volterra history has left its mark continuously from the Etruscan period to the 19th century, with artistic and monumental evidence of great importance, which can be admired simply by walking through the streets of the historic centre on a summer evening.
