There is a very romantic place in the Terre di Pisa and it is located in Pietraia, a small village in Casciana Terme. We are talking about the ‘Vicolo dell’Amore’ (Love Alley), a pretty little street where lovers can stroll all year round and take a souvenir photo.
A romantic street, ideal for taking a selfie
The dominant colour in this pretty alley is red, and among the decorations in the ‘Love’ theme is a heart-shaped selfie frame. Very popular, especially on Valentine’s Day by couples and newlyweds, who often go here on their wedding day to have a special memento.
The alley can be reached on foot from the centre of Casciana Terme, passing the Church of San Martino.
The initiative dedicated to lovers was created in 2020 by the Association ‘Il risveglio del borgo’, which has long been involved in the enhancement of this small medieval village of Casciana Terme.
