The DJs White Night in Santa Maria a Monte

The DJs’ White Night takes place on Tuesday 28 July in Santa Maria a Monte, featuring an original format: twelve music stations spread throughout the village, each with its own artistic identity, taking the audience on a musical journey spanning over fifty years of music history, from the great classics to the most modern sounds.

The idea involved the national community ‘DJs Helping DJs’, a Facebook group with 30,000 members. The result will be a veritable celebration of music, bringing together professionals from all over Italy.

The event kicks off at 9.30 pm with special guest Mario Più, one of Italy’s best-known DJs on the international scene. From late afternoon onwards, however, the historic centre will begin to come alive with music, entertainment and numerous side events. The programme is not limited to musical performances; there will also be street food, markets, children’s games, open museums and a free shuttle bus service from the Ponticelli sports ground to facilitate access to the historic centre.

Among the twelve music areas, highlights include the large ‘Videodiscoteca’ set up in Piazza del Comune, attended by Max Mora, CEO of VirtualDJ Italia; the electronic music stage on the Rocca terrace; the area reserved for national content creators; and the spaces dedicated to Latin music, Italodance and disco classics.
