Guided tours exploring Pisa in June

The 15th edition of “La Gloriosa” features a programme of guided tours exploring Pisa every Thursday in June. It forms part of the Giugno Pisano events.

Thursday 4 June: “Piazza del Duomo as a cosmic clock” – a tour exploring Piazza del Duomo and Via Santa Maria, with visits to the churches of San Sisto in Corte Vecchia and San Rocco.
Meeting and departure at 9.00 pm at the Fontana dei Putti in Piazza del Duomo.

Thursday 11 June: “The Pandette Pisane”. We will visit San Pietro in Vinculis with its crypt, followed by a walk along the Lungarni to the Gondola Harbour.
Meeting and departure at 9.00 pm in Piazza Garibaldi.

Thursday 18 June “Porta Calcesana” Walk from Porta Calcesana to the Bastione del Barbagianni, along the southern banks of the Arno to the church of San Pietro in Vinculis.
Meeting and departure at 9.00 pm at Porta Calcesana.

Thursday 25 June: “The Camposanto was founded in Pisa”. Guided tour of the Camposanto and visits to the churches of San Sisto in Corte Vecchia and San Rocco.
Meeting and departure at 9.00 pm at the Camposanto Monumentale.
