Music and Theatre in Palaia and Montefoscoli

Sunday, April 19, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., a unique experience at the Museum of Rural Life in Montefoscoli.

A fascinating guided tour by lantern light will take visitors on a journey through the museum in an evocative, timeless atmosphere, where soft lighting and storytelling will bring each object to life and fill it with history.

The event is organized to mark the bicentennial of the death of Andrea Vaccà Berlinghieri, an outstanding surgeon and renowned scholar who died at the age of just 54, at the height of his career and fame. The creator of the Temple of Minerva Medica near the town, he is buried in the Camposanto Monumentale in Pisa.
