The traditional concert series during Lent and Easter returns to Pisa and the surrounding area, taking place in lesser-known venues such as the church of Montemagno in Calci, where the opening concert will be held on Sunday, March 29, at 5:00 p.m.
The small Romanesque church of Zambra, between Pisa and Cascina, will host the second concert on Wednesday, April 1, at 9:15 p.m., while the Sanctuary of the Santissima Annunziata in Uliveto Terme will host it on Sunday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m.
In Pisa, Easter Concert will take place in the Church of San Michele degli Scalzi on Saturday, April 11, at 9:15 p.m., followed by the White Night of the Churches, featuring seven churches open with musical performances from 9:00 p.m. to midnight on Friday, May 8.
The festival concludes with a concert on Sunday, May 24, at 6:00 p.m., to celebrate the founding of the Hospital of Pisa, which took place in 1257 on Pentecost Sunday.
