From 4 to 7 June, Archivissima returns: a journey through the archives of all Italy’s regions, featuring a special section waiting to be discovered. In Santa Maria a Monte (40km from Pisa), the Civic Museum will be open exceptionally on Friday 5 June at 9.30 pm, with a free guided tour of the museum’s exhibits displaying documents from the Pre-Unification Municipal Historical Archive of Santa Maria a Monte.
In the second part of the evening, participants are taken to the nearby Municipal Historical Archive on the second floor of the “Casa Carducci” Museum, which houses documents dating from the mid-14th century up to the unification of Italy. Free admission. Bookings on +39.333 349 5168 or by email at: musei@comune.santamariaamonte.pi.it
