Nessiah – Festival of the Jewish Culture

The Nessiah Festival, which means ‘journey’ in Hebrew, has been the only festival of its kind in Italy since 1997. Nine dates, each with a different theme, from 30 November to 21 December in various locations in the historic centre of Pisa.

For the 2025 edition, Nessiah looks to the East, to the territories historically crossed by the Jewish diaspora after their expulsion from Spain, and chooses as its central theme the Balkans, a millennial crossroads of languages, cultures and religions.
