The Halloween appointment on 31 October at the Castello dei Vicari is back. From 5 p.m., a chilling appointment for families with children to discover the secrets of the castle and its dungeons. Important characters from the past have returned to inhabit its rooms and help is needed to put them back to sleep.

The most inhospitable area of Lari Castle has been used as a prison for over five centuries. And what better way to learn about the vicissitudes of the castle itself and the territory that was administered from Lari, than to have them recounted by prisoners after being put in a cell? This is where “Theatre in Jail” comes from.
