The hamlet of Corazzano belongs to the municipality of San Miniato, from which it is 9 km away.
It is known for the ancient Pieve di San Giovanni, (formerly Pieve di Quaranthana) located to the right of the Egola stream, along the road to Montaione. Built in the 8th-9th century near the Via Francigena, the present building dates back to the 12th century. The brick parish church, declared a national monument in 1899 due to its artistic and historical value, is mentioned in a document from 892 AD. The building was probably originally made of Alberese stone; following a violent earthquake, it was later rebuilt in brick.
The parish church has a Latin cross plan with a single aisleless nave. It has a façade with angular pilasters, marble artefacts and a fragment of an epigraph from the Roman era. The portal is surmounted by a round arch. On the left side rises the massive bell tower with battlements. Inside, there is a 16th-century wooden pulpit and a baptismal font from the ancient church of Barbinaia; on the right wall there are traces of a 14th-century fresco depicting the Madonna and Child.
