Antiques Market Exhibition| Bientina

The Bientina Antiques Market, now called BientinAntiquaria, goes along Piazza dei Borghi to Piazza Martiri della Libertà and nearby streets (Via Gerini, Via Santi Moroni, Via Matteotti).

BientinAntiquaria takes place every fourth Sunday of the month. With around a hundred exhibitors, the event consolidates itself as a point of reference for the many enthusiasts looking for antiques, rarities, curiosities, modern antiques, vintage, collectibles.

At the same time, the Pieve Museum is open in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, which preserves the treasure of the Bientinesi. Since the 18th century, the remains of St. Valentine the martyr (patron saint of Bientina, to whom the palio in July is dedicated) have been located here. The remains of the Saint were exhumed from the Roman catacombs of San Callisto on the Via Appia and delivered to Bientina in1699. The museum is open from 9.30 to 12.30 and from 15.30 to 19.00.
