Historical Re-enactment in Lari

The event takes place on 27 September at the Castello dei Vicari and in Piazza Matteotti in the historic centre of Lari from 10.30 am to 7.00 pm. The central theme of this year’s event is music, which will echo through the ancient walls of the Castello dei Vicari.

Inside the castle’s halls, visitors are transported back five centuries, where wandering musicians, artisans at work and flag-wavers re-enact scenes of cooking, healing and writing. Outside, visitors can watch duels and demonstrations, with the Falconer providing a unique spectacle thanks to his birds in flight.
