{"id":22964,"date":"2021-05-12T10:23:42","date_gmt":"2021-05-12T08:23:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/?post_type=ricetta&#038;p=22964"},"modified":"2021-05-12T10:23:42","modified_gmt":"2021-05-12T08:23:42","slug":"pinolata-pine-nut-cake","status":"publish","type":"ricetta","link":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/ricetta\/pinolata-pine-nut-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Pinolata &#8211; Pine Nut Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients for 6 people<br \/>\n<\/strong>10 oz (300 g) plain flour (preferably of the \u201c00\u201d variety)<br \/>\n8 oz (250 g) sugar<br \/>\n6 oz (180 g) butter, softened<br \/>\n5 oz (150 g) pine nuts (preferably from the Parco di Migliarino, San Rossore Massaciuccoli)<br \/>\n6 eggs<br \/>\n1 sachet of vanillin<br \/>\n2 teaspoons baking powder<br \/>\ngrated zest of 1 organic lemon<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nSeparate the eggs. Beat the yolks with 5 oz (150 g) of butter until well mixed. Gradually beat in the sugar, vanillin and 1\/2 teaspoon salt<br \/>\nuntil well combined.<br \/>\nGradually sprinkle in the flour. Add the baking powder, lemon zest and 3.5 oz (100 g) of pine nuts. Continue mixing.<br \/>\nPreheat the oven to 350\u00b0F (180\u00b0C). Butter a cake tin and sprinkle with the remaining pine nuts.<br \/>\nWhip the egg whites to stiff peaks and fold into the mixture. Pour into the prepared tin.
