The Terre di Pisa area boasts an extraordinary heritage, including sites recognized by UNESCO for their universal value. The most famous symbol is undoubtedly the Piazza dei Miracoli <\/strong>complex, which includes the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, and the Baptistery. <\/strong>This unique complex embodies the perfection of medieval art and architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this tangible heritage, the Terre di Pisa boast equally valuable intangible traditions, such as the ancient practice of truffle hunting and harvesting<\/strong>. This practice is recognized by UNESCO for its deep connection to the local culture and territory. This tradition has been passed down for generations, striking a unique balance between humans and nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the UNESCO World Heritage sites is the Selve Costiere di Toscana Biosphere Reserve<\/strong>, which includes the Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Regional Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly, the Metalliferous Hills National Park<\/strong> is not to be missed.
