One notable initiative is the sensory bag, a free kit designed for children and young people on the autism spectrum. The kit includes items such as sunglasses, earplugs, and stress balls to help manage excessive sensory stimuli during the visit.

Developed with the contribution of 11 associations, the accessibility project also includes tactile paths for the blind, courtesy wheelchairs, videos in Italian Sign Language (LIS), and free tickets for people with disabilities and their companions. Accessibility Service Cards have also been introduced. Available online and at ticket offices, these cards offer clear information on services dedicated to different disabilities.

Training reception staff continuously is essential. At the same time, the Plan for the Elimination of Architectural Barriers (PEBA) is underway to further improve accessibility.

The Terre di Pisa area boasts an extraordinary heritage, including sites recognized by UNESCO for their universal value.
