Children symbolically take possession of the town through the handover of the mayor\u2019s keys to the Grand Chamberlain of the Kingdom of Children, played by a local boy or girl. \u201cCiambellano\u201d refers to the traditional dessert still made for the occasion: round with a hole in the middle and filled with candied fruit and raisins.<br \/>View the program by clicking on the poster or visiting the page<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Hot-Air Balloon Launch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are many fun activities and shows to entertain young and old alike with artistic performances, culminating on the final day when Casciana is closed to traffic and overrun by children, transforming into a wonderland of toys, with street performances, clowns, prize games, and creative workshops.
