Dinner is served in the town square, followed by live entertainment.\u00a0The fair precedes the feast of the patron saint, San Lorenzo on August 10th, which features a procession, tastings of local products, and a buffet dinner in the parish garden, accompanied by music.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fauglia<\/strong> is characterized by a single main road lined with houses and small squares. Points of interest include the old church bell tower, the Town Hall, the Municipal Theater, and the Church of San Lorenzo, while the Market Square (Piazza del Mercato) is notable for its old grain warehouses.<\/p>\n<p>Elegant villas in the surrounding area are a distinctive feature of the village, which was once a favored destination for intellectuals and writers. Prominent among these is Villa Trovarsi, the former home of actress Marta Abba, who had a close connection to the playwright and writer Luigi Pirandello.\u00a0Also of note is the small Giorgio Kienerk Museum, housed in the 19th-century building that formerly served as Fauglia\u2019s magistrate&#8217;s court and prison cells.
