Every third Sunday of the month, <\/strong>the Green Triangl<\/strong>e of Legoli opens from 10.30 am to 5 pm (in winter 4.00 pm). At the same time, \u2018Escape Giants\u2019 <\/strong>takes place, a treasure hunt<\/strong> spread throughout the tourist area for families with children aged 5 to 12.<\/p>\n

What will the Giants’ treasure chest contain? Admission must be booked by calling 0587 672073 or at\u00a0page<\/a><\/p>\n

  • The Giants are four sculptures,<\/strong> 5 to 9 metres high, depicting human figures. Two are located inside the Legoli Waste Disposal and Treatment Plant, a place not only of destruction but an opportunity for rebirth (the Green Triangle). They are sculptures made of polystyrene and polyurethane foam, covered with cement fibres resistant to external agents.<\/li>\n
  • In summer 2013, two of the four Presenze were transported by helicopter from the Triangolo Verde di Legoli to the Teatro del Silenzio di Lajatico for the Andrea Bocelli concert. The same experience was replicated, the following year, at the Fonte Mazzola Amphitheatre in Peccioli as part of the \u201811 Lune\u2019 Theatre, Music and Events festival held in July.
