Monticello has a constant\u00a0<strong>temperature of 16\u00b0<\/strong>\u00a0all the year. It has been always surrounded by popular legends, due to the presence of steam clouds coming out of the ground holes which, in addition to the nearby thermal springs of San Giuliano Terme, made people think of the presence of monsters and horrible cannibal creature<\/p>\n<p>It is located on the provincial road of Lungomonte Pisano (in front of the cemetery of Agnano). It is not necessary to have specific previous experience to descend into the cave: the visit takes place accompanied by an experienced and authorized guide and is organized to give the opportunity for anyone to discover this fascinating underground world. The minimum age for access to the cave is 10 years old.<\/p>\n<p>The entire route, including the time necessary to equip oneself, takes about an hour and a half.<br \/>\nReservation is required with advance payment on the website.
