The meeting point and start line is at the Centro Nuova Primavera in Forcoli, starting at 7.30 am.<\/p>\n<p><strong>F\u00f2rcoli <\/strong>is a hamlet in the municipality of Palaia. The name derives from Castrum Forcolae, of Roman origin. The village did not escape the struggles between Pisa and Florence, so much so that in 1362 an army of Florentines destroyed the \u201cMercantale di Forcoli\u201d.
