{"id":8801,"date":"2019-05-26T14:34:04","date_gmt":"2019-05-26T12:34:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/?post_type=attrazione&#038;p=8801"},"modified":"2025-10-24T11:40:44","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T09:40:44","slug":"aero-club-pisa-valdera-airfield-capannoli","status":"publish","type":"attrazione","link":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/attrazione\/aero-club-pisa-valdera-airfield-capannoli\/","title":{"rendered":"Capannoli | Aero Club Pisa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The<strong> Aero Club of Pisa Federico Citi<\/strong> is a grass airfield of 670 meters near <a href=\"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/territory\/capannoli\/\"><strong>Capannoli<\/strong><\/a>, not far from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/territory\/pontedera\/\">Pontedera<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Learning to fly, the courses<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-34335 size-large alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/evento_Capannoli-1024x410.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"625\" height=\"250\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>courses<\/strong> on the airfield concern the achievement of the VDS certificate (with Tecnam P92), motor gliders (Pipistrel Sinus), hang gliders (Pendolare Pipistrel), gyroplanes (ELA) and free flight (School No. 51) with a staff of instructors with extensive experience, not only in VDS, but also in General and Commercial Aviation.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, on the airfield are trained the <strong>parachutists<\/strong> of the Army Sports Center and the Carabinieri Sports Center, holders of numerous world titles in various disciplines.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Aero Club, entry point into the aviation world<\/h2>\n<p>The Aero Club promotes the activities of construction of its own aircraft, starting from construction drawings, as well as the recovery and preservation of historical aircraft.
