The <strong>fa\u00e7ade<\/strong> and <strong>interior<\/strong> reproduce the typical features of 16th century Florentine minor architecture. Next to the villa, an <strong>oratory<\/strong> with simple classical forms was built in 1741, attributed to <strong>Francesco Melani<\/strong>, well known for having decorated the interior of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/attrazione\/national-museum-of-san-matteo\/\">Church of San Matteo in Pisa<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note the development of the later outbuildings, such as the small villa and garden in 19th-century style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The villa is in the village of Crespina (Piazza Cesare Battisti) and is owned by <strong>the art critic Carlo Pepi, <\/strong>recently dead, who has used it as a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/attrazione\/carlo-pepi-collection-in-crespina\/\">museum house<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":49557,"parent":0,"template":"","tipo-attrazione":[1457],"filter-who":[1453,1455,1454,1452],"filter-time":[],"class_list":["post-52404","attrazione","type-attrazione","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tipo-attrazione-attrazione-cultura-en","filter-who-couple","filter-who-family","filter-who-adults","filter-who-single"],"acf":[],"wpml_current_locale":"en_US","wpml_translations":[{"locale":"it_IT","id":49555,"post_title":"Crespina | Villa Montelisi o Ciuti","href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/crespina-villa-montelisi-o-ciuti\/"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/attrazione\/52404","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/attrazione"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/attrazione"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/49557"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=52404"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"tipo-attrazione","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tipo-attrazione?post=52404"},{"taxonomy":"filter-who","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/filter-who?post=52404"},{"taxonomy":"filter-time","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/filter-time?post=52404"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
