{"id":52235,"date":"2024-01-09T16:26:52","date_gmt":"2024-01-09T15:26:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/attrazione\/casciana-terme-s-ermo-sanctuary-madonna-monti\/"},"modified":"2025-10-27T14:45:26","modified_gmt":"2025-10-27T13:45:26","slug":"casciana-terme-s-ermo-sanctuary-madonna-monti","status":"publish","type":"attrazione","link":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/attrazione\/casciana-terme-s-ermo-sanctuary-madonna-monti\/","title":{"rendered":"Casciana Terme | S.Ermo, Sanctuary Madonna Monti"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sant&#8217;Ermo is a cozy hamlet near Casciana Terme.<\/strong> It appears to have origins dating back to the 11th century, although it is first mentioned in a document from 1260 that refers to the current church of Sant&#8217;Ermete, at that time under the Diocese of Lucca, rebuilt in the 17th century as we see it today.<\/p>\n<p>Just outside the village is the <strong>Sanctuary of the Madonna dei Monti,<\/strong> which overlooks a beautiful setting of wheat fields.
