The fa\u00e7ades of the new buildings hid the manufacturing plants that went as far as the edges of the Era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The south-eastern side is overlooked by <strong>Palazzo Crastan Pandolfi<\/strong> and <strong>Palazzo Morini<\/strong> (no. 27), one of Pontedera&#8217;s most beautiful, designed by <strong>Luigi Bellincioni<\/strong> in 1880 and restored in 2005 by architect Bartalini with a richly decorated monumental fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Palazzo Naldini<\/strong> (no. 20) and <strong>Palazzo Bruschi<\/strong> (no. 16) on the square were also designed by Bellincioni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the north side of the square, at number 135, there is a beautiful Art Nouveau building from the early 1920s with stylish floral elements and two rows of polychrome ceramic tiles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":49279,"parent":0,"template":"","tipo-attrazione":[],"filter-who":[],"filter-time":[],"class_list":["post-52208","attrazione","type-attrazione","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"wpml_current_locale":"en_US","wpml_translations":[{"locale":"it_IT","id":49277,"post_title":"Pontedera | Piazza Martiri della Libert\u00e0","href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/pontedera-piazza-martiri-della-liberta\/"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/attrazione\/52208","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/attrazione"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/attrazione"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/49279"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=52208"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"tipo-attrazione","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tipo-attrazione?post=52208"},{"taxonomy":"filter-who","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/filter-who?post=52208"},{"taxonomy":"filter-time","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/filter-time?post=52208"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
