The Museum, the most recent of the museum system of San Miniato<\/strong><\/a>, is dedicated to the memory of the Second World War,<\/strong> testimony of those who lived those horrors. <\/em><\/p>\n

Inside are collected great part of the memories of the citizens that wanted to record their history through objects, letters, photographies and video-memories.<\/em><\/p>\n

The collection<\/strong> is divided into three sections and covers a period between 1921, the year of the establishment of the Fascist groups (called “Fasci da combattimento) and 1946 when the first democratic elections with universal suffrage were held.<\/p>\n

The museum, result of collaboration with the Scuola Normale Superiore<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Museum has been realized in collaboration with the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa<\/strong><\/a> which has taken care of the multimedia applications, offering a faithful historical reconstruction of the most significant events of San Miniato in the painful period of the Second World War.<\/p>\n
