{"id":10367,"date":"2019-06-29T09:31:47","date_gmt":"2019-06-29T07:31:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/?post_type=attrazione&#038;p=10367"},"modified":"2023-11-15T12:04:02","modified_gmt":"2023-11-15T11:04:02","slug":"peccioli-prehistoric-park","status":"publish","type":"attrazione","link":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/attrazione\/peccioli-prehistoric-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Peccioli | Prehistoric Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Dinosaurs were at the <strong>Prehistoric Park<\/strong> of Peccioli in 1997, thirteen years before the novel Jurassic Park, sixteen years before Steven Spielberg&#8217;s film of the same name and 23 years before Disney&#8217;s feature film &#8220;Dinosaurs&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Dinosaurs in Peccioli<\/h2>\n<p>The Prehistoric Park features <strong>twenty-two reconstructions<\/strong>, including a volcano that erupts colored balls and a full-scale reproduction of a Jurassic brachiosaurus, the largest dinosaur currently reconstructed in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Each dinosaur is presented by a multilingual descriptive sign explaining its main features. The Prehistoric Park was curiously founded by a former circus performer almost 40 years ago. Since then he and his family have taken care of the Park and the dinosaur reconstructions.<\/p>\n<p>Guided tours for groups only and by reservation.
