{"id":10348,"date":"2019-06-29T00:33:53","date_gmt":"2019-06-28T22:33:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/?post_type=attrazione&#038;p=10348"},"modified":"2023-11-15T10:08:32","modified_gmt":"2023-11-15T09:08:32","slug":"palaia-church-of-san-martino","status":"publish","type":"attrazione","link":"https:\/\/www.terredipisa.it\/en\/attrazione\/palaia-church-of-san-martino\/","title":{"rendered":"Palaia | Parish Church of San Martino"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<p><em>The <strong>brick building<\/strong> alternates <strong>Romanesque and Gothic<\/strong> features, even though it was restored in the 19th century.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>The architecture<\/h2>\n<p>The fa\u00e7ade, built in stone and not in bricks, is pierced by three portals and decorated by numerous small arches.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>spacious interior<\/strong> is divided into a nave and two aisles by pillars supporting round arches. The raised presbytery opens onto three chapels and a semidecagonal apse.
