Centrum Sete Sois Sete Luas

Centrum Sete Sóis Sete Luas is the home of the Festival of the same name, which started back in 1992 and promotes the arts and cultures of the Mediterranean and Portuguese-speaking world in 10 countries (Brazil, Cape Verde, Croatia, France, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Tunisia) through intercultural dialogue and the mobility of artists in a mutual exchange.
In Italy it has its seat in Pontedera. In the "Centrum Sete Sóis Sete Luas" 7-10 contemporary art exhibitions (painting, sculpture, photography, video art, street art...) are hosted every year. Each artist, coming from one of the Sete Sóis Sete Luas networks, who exhibits his or her works, is invited to take part in an artistic residency in which he or she creates a new work, which will then be donated to the Centrum, offers a creativity workshop for students and adults and is present at the opening of the exhibition, leading the public on a guided tour through his or her works.
