Wine and Jazz in the Cellar – Cantina Jazz Tour

Cantina Jazz, now in its 19th edition, combines wine and jazz with the “Enoestesie nei Borghi” review.  The traditional summer tour offers a calendar of six appointments in as many delightful villages in the Terre di Pisa: 24 June in Lorenzana, then 8 July in Santa Maria a Monte, 22 July in Montescudaio, 12 August in Palaia, 26 August in Monteverdi Marittimo and finally 10 September in Terricciola

On Friday 8 July, Santa Maria a Monte hosts the second event. It begins with a tour starting at 19:00 from Piazza Vittoria, lasting about 40 min. From 20:30, the show at the Scuderie di Villa Mori, a location with a view over the village and the Valdarno. Tasting of wines by Varramista and Degli Azzoni wineries, who will present very different wines, paired with products from Salumificio Rosi, a local charcuterie producer. Chef Elena’s dessert will include a custard with handmade cantuccino grains. To finish, Trinci coffee with the typical oriental scents of roasting, balsamic and cocoa.
