September in Perignano | Fair and Palio of Santa Lucia

The village of Perignano, nar Lari, celebrates the traditional fair on 3 September in Piazza Vittorio Veneto in the name of fun with street food, music, an antiques and handicraft market, an amusement park.

This is followed by the Palio di Santa Lucia which begins with the Parade of the districts (9 September), the Palio dei Ragazzi (10 September) and the grand finale with the Palio della Libra (16 September, 9.00 pm) in Piazza Enrico Berlinguer.

Now in its 37th year, the palio sees the six districts fighting to win the coveted “Cencio”: Casaccia, Castello, Quattro Strade, Fagiolaia, Spinelli, Pari, Tomaiola and Tre Vie
