Pontedera Music Festival – Summer Edition

From 5 July to 27 September, the 8th Summer edition of Pontedera Music Festival takes place, featuring pop, jazz, singer-songwriter and classical concerts.

The 2026 edition focuses on a wide-ranging programme which, as is now customary for the festival’s summer section, combines classical and jazz with popular music genres such as singer-songwriter music, rock and world music, as well as opportunities to experience classical music ‘up close’ in unusual settings such as the city centre’s pubs: Bulldog, Bar Fantozzi, Chimney and Vivo, transforming these venues into informal stages to bring the great classical repertoire closer to a younger audience.

The festival includes two annual programmes: one running from January to June, with concerts taking place in the Piaggio Museum Auditorium, the ‘Marco Papiani’ Auditorium of the Pontedera Music Academy and the ERA Theatre; and one running from July to September, with concerts held outdoors in Piazzale Corradino d’Ascanio in front of the Piaggio Museum, the “Marco Papiani” Auditorium of the Pontedera Music Academy and in the garden of Villa Crastan in the city centre
