Nativity Scene | Calcinaia

This local representation of the Nativity Scene is now part of the Terre di Presepi route where pilgrims can have their card stamped. This particular Nativity Scene is characterised by technology and automatization, based on a combination of special effects and audio clips from the most famous films on the life of Christ: the Annunciation, the arrival in Bethlehem, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Last Supper, the Passion and the Eucharist and Easter.

The Nativity can be visited free of charge in the following times:
– public holidays: from 9 to 12.30 and from 3.30pm to 8pm
– days before public holidays: from 5 to 8pm

Visits can be booked in different times.
