The National Day of the Italian Historic Houses Association returns on Sunday 24 May 2026.
The theme of the 16th edition is ‘Guardians of the Future: a living heritage for a shared love’.

Over 450 locations including castles, fortresses, palaces, villas, parks and gardens open their doors to welcome those who want to discover places of extraordinary beauty, little known to the public, but also to raise awareness of the importance of preserving and enhancing private cultural assets subject to constraints, the protection of which is entrusted to individual owners.
