Kienerk Museum openings | Fauglia

Tuesday 16 June, at 6.30 pm as part of the Amico Museo programme, an evening guided tour exploring the work of Vittoria Kienerk. Followed by an aperitif and a painting workshop. Bookings must be made by 12 June by emailing: museo@comune.fauglia.pi.it. Cost: €20

The Kienerk Museum, housed in the former courthouse, displays a collection of paintings, sculptures, bas-reliefs and drawings by Giorgio Kienerk, comprising over 130 pieces donated by his daughter Vittoria to the local council. The artist, a pupil of the Macchiaioli painters Cecioni and Signorini, had a long-standing connection with Fauglia, having spent much time with his wife and daughter at the villa in Poggio alla Farnia.
