Mechanical Nativity Crib | Riparbella

Every year on the evening of 24 December, Riparbella inaugurates the “Animated Mechanical Crib“, which can be visited until 28 February.

The nativity scene, created by the townspeople, is housed in the premises of the former Cinema in Piazza della Madonna 1.

It covers an area of about 80 square metres and boasts over 140 animated figurines 20 cm high. (in addition to the characters of the Nativity, you can admire housewives, craftsmen, washerwomen, fishermen, shepherds, bricklayers, woodcutters and a barber, all working and perfectly animated).
