Marrone Chestnut Festival in Rivalto

The “Marrone Chestnut Festival” is held every year on the second week end of October (Saturday and Sunday, from 5.00 p.m.) in the cozy hamlet of Rivalto, near Chianni.

This chestnut is not grown in great quantities and is therefore very well known. The defined organoleptic qualities of the Rivalto chestnut confirm its authenticity. During the festival visitors can taste roasted and boiled (ballotte) chestnuts.
