The Festa del Carretto is back in the party space in Latignano, a town on the outskirts of Cascina. For two weekends in September, food stands are open for the duck and tripe festival, accompanied by live orchestra music.
Saturday 2 September is the day of the Palio del Carretto. The three Contrade, Aquila, Drago and Leone, will parade the night before in the streets of the town up to Piazza della Chiesa which, after the religious function, will bless the carts and the participants in the Palio race
