Village fair and Palio in Santo Pietro Belvedere

The traditional village fair of Santo Pietro Belvedere takes place every year on the first Monday of September with a program starting in the afternoon until evening in Piazza Don Gino Lemmi

The fair is preceded on 29 August by the Palio del Ruzzolo, now in its fifth year, which features a procession from Piazza Castello to the sports ground. This is a competition in which eight teams, each comprising seven participants, will compete by pushing a round bale of hay through the village streets. This will be followed by an evening of dinner featuring traditional dishes and music (see the programme on the poster below).
