World Water Day: guided tours of the aqueducts of Bientina and Buti

Every year 22 March is World Water Day, established by the United Nations in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro.
Saturday 23 March “Discovering the underground waters of Bientina and Buti”. Getting to know the places where the water we drink every day is drawn and checked before being sent into the water network and thus arriving drinkable at our taps, is certainly an opportunity not to be missed, and what’s more, you can admire the historic aqueduct that is still working.

The programme:
9 a.m., visit to the Bientina power plant (Via Lungo Poggio Superiore)
10.30 a.m., visit to the Buti power station (Via di Badia – signs for Agriturismo Il Seracino)
