On Sunday, November 9th, Terricciola will be transformed into the heart of global wine tourism. This small Tuscan village, nestled among hills and centuries-old vineyards, will celebrate World Wine Tourism Day 2025, promoted by RECEVIN (European Network of Wine Cities) in collaboration with the National Associations of Wine Cities of participating countries. This international event unites wine cities from across Europe, offering tourists and enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the culture, traditions, and experiences related to the world of wine.
The wine conference will begin at 10:00 a.m., featuring the panel “From the Vineyard to the Glass: Strategies and Prospects for Wine Tourism between Past and Future” at the Teatro DiVino, Via Pozzuolo 6.
Free winery tours with tastings included.
From 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Terricciola will open its cellars to visitors and enthusiasts. It will be a true sensory journey through the vineyards, the stories, and the passion of the winemakers—passed down from generation to generation. Participants will meet those who work daily among the vineyards and barrels, listen to stories of hard work and joy, and be guided by local wine tastings. In some wineries, it will also be possible to savor small gastronomic offerings paired with the wines, making each visit an unforgettable experience, filled with aromas, colors, and emotions.
