Ponsacco Trade Fair

The traditional Ponsacco Trade Fair takes place on Saturday 10 June in the historic centre of the Valdera town. The theme of this edition will be ‘Insomnia’, a former discotheque that attracted young people from all over Italy. The idea comes from the fact that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the opening of what was to become the ‘Discoacropolis of Italy’.

The festival will take place in four locations in Ponsacco:
– Piazza D’Appiano where the so-called Main stage will be set up with historical DJs that will go on from 5pm to 1am
– Piazza San Giovanni where the protagonist will be a historical face of Insomnia, Prince Maurice, who will propose a show linked to theatrical contaminations.
– Piazza Valli Rodolfo Valli where a ledwall will be set up where first the Champions League final will be broadcast and then two documentaries about the disco and that world
– Corso Matteotti with a photographic exhibition of repertoire and the flyers, tickets and leaflets that were used to advertise Saturday night events in the 1990s, as well as gastronomic, food, clothing and accessories stands
